"Ending The Rat Race" was officially launched in September, 2008 by a young Canadian investor and entrepreneur who is anticipating to retire and hence "end the rat race" at a young age.
Currently in his early thirties, the author has etched out and created a small place in cyberspace through this website for a multitude of reasons:
Firstly, to express in the author's own words, as well as create an organized, structured series of thought processes of some of his day-to-day experiences in relation to attaining the overall end-goal or objective. This should allow for the author to maintain focus on a consistent basis.
Secondly, the site has been created to allow for the interaction of individuals having similar interests or pursuits. That is, any individual that has an appreciation for personal finances, investments, real estate, or business in general, is welcome to this site to simply read its contents and/or participate.
Lastly, sharing knowledge through books, articles, and magazine reviews, as well as calculations derived from analyzing investments, should allow for participants to possibly enhance their respective positions vis-a-vis personal objectives.
